Data Results
We found some very interesting things after testing for just a week in the Milk River andTen-Mile Drain. Here are the results:
Milk River
- Pyrene=22.7 nanograms per liter (ng/L)
-Fluoranthene=37.6 ng/L
-Phenanthrene Anathracene=48.7 ng.L
Ten-Mile Drain
-Pyrene=7.2 ng/L
-Flouranthene=11.9 ng/L
-Phenanthrene Anthracene=o ng/L
As you can see, the Ten-Mile Drain has lower pollution levels than the Milk River. This is probably because of the EPA's (environmental protection agency) cleanup of the Ten-Mile Drain. This proves that the EPA's efforts are truly helping. To find out more, click "EPA Cleanup" on the left.
